An unexpected change...

7:30 a.m. Received a text from Magnolia "I am about to have this kid! You are on your own today!"
7:30 & One second a.m. My text "Like heck you are! Don't let that kid come out we have only practiced jock talk twice and you weren't supposed to have him until the 15th!!!!!"

This is were my Monday morning started. Knowing I could do it, but just a little timid about the whole situation and doing it by myself, I made my way to work! When I got to work as was expected comments came flying in about the baby... and me having to take over her duties! "Jenna you ready to be on the radio?," (Thought: Umm No) "Hey cool intern you think you can handle it," (Thought again: Umm No) "Are you sure you can do this?" (Last Thoughts: Umm No). Well dispite my worries, I have successfully completed my first full week of assuming Magnolia's duties.
I am full time on the Sunrise Reporter. I have also completed my first solo Sunrise Reporter side panel ad. Now I am beginning to get into the grove of things.
This also means that I have now had a full week of Jock Talk on KYFM 100.1 FM Bartlesville Radio! Things work a little differently here than most stations, but none-the-less I have done it! Friends and family think it is cool, of course I am now the famous person they are always talking about, well maybe not! Occasionally on this station and the others you can hear some of the commercials that I also have recorded.
Other than this new venture, I have continued to update obits, and all the other daily tasks that I have taken over. This week was also billing so a lot of our time was also spent doing the statements for the month!
